Beat The Domain Price Increase

Beat The Domain Price Increase

Couple of days ago, I received an email from Go Daddy about the upcoming price increase. I am sure that those of us who have domains with them have received this notification. But, I am also sure that a lot of us might have ignored it since we receive several mails about discount, offers etc.

I just wanted to highlight this today and bring this to attention so everyone can avoid the increase in price and take advantage while we can.

On July 1, 2010, VeriSign®, the registry for .COM and .NET, will increase prices.

The .COM will go up 7%, and the .NET by 10%. Now this is a good increase and if you have tons of domains, it will definitely make a huge difference.

The increase will be passed to registrars like Go Daddy and several other domain registrars and then, to us consumers.

As of July 1, the price of domain renewal, registration as well as transfer prices will go up for these two popular top-level domains. Seems like that there is great demand for these two extensions.

I have a lot of domains myself and I am no choice than to renew them for a couple more years. Imagine if you have 100+ domains, the 7-10% increase will make a good difference.

So head to Go Daddy, register or renew for multiple years and lock in long-term savings.

You can find a lot of Godaddy promo codes if you search in Google so make sure you take advantage of that as well.

Register, Renew, Transfer Right Now

Good luck…

The type of plug in really depends on what is is specifically used for. The one plug in that i can not seem to do with out is the DeansFCKEditor for wordpress.

Yes, domain name pricing actually affects all customers and the industry as a whole. The increasing cost will definitely slow down the growth of the internet if the domains go back to 1990′s pricing of $100 – $150 per domain and waiting 4 weeks to get it.
